You get a link. Someone clicks it and buys Vivarium within 60 days, on any device, and the sale is attributed to you — the window is generous because a wallpaper app is something people try free and pay for later, often weeks later, and a 30-day cookie would quietly eat most of that.
Attribution, payouts and tax paperwork are handled by the payment processor, not by us. That is deliberate: it means you are paid by a company whose actual job is paying people, and there is no hand-built tracking of ours sitting between you and your money.
Any first purchase from someone who has not bought before, and every renewal after it, for as long as they keep paying. Refunds are clawed back, which is the only way the number can be honest.
The honest pitch is the one that works: Backdrop is a wallpaper store, Vivarium is a wallpaper maker. It takes video you already own — footage you shot, a clip you like — finds the point where it loops seamlessly, and runs it behind your windows. The engine is the product. Say that and you will convert better than any superlative.
Two things to be straight about, because getting them wrong produces refunds you would lose anyway: it is macOS 15 or later, and it does not put moving wallpaper on an iPhone. Apple does not permit that from third-party apps; the app exports a still, and says so.
There is no media kit yet. When the programme opens there will be screenshots, the loops themselves, and copy you can lift verbatim. Until then, anything on this site is fair to use.
